ryan campbell - family ministry summer intern

I would like to take a few moments of your time to inform you of some of the activities that 2:52 Student Ministries have this summer and to introduce myself.

This summer I will be coming on staff at Village Church as the Family Ministry intern. This means for most of the events that we have I will be handling the administrative work as well as a good portion of the large group teaching.

It is the goal of the 2:52 Student Ministry Leaders  to come alongside parents and assist them in teaching your sons and daughters about the Bible. We plan to make meaningful relationships by modeling our lives to glorify Christ. In doing so we hope to fulfill the greater mission of the church, which is to Connect, Grow, Serve, and GO. We also will pray daily for your children, connect weekly with them through our Tuesday Night ministry, serve with them in activities helping the community, and go with them into the community spreading the good news of Christ!

Thank you so much for the opportunity to work with you and your children, if you have any questions or concerns we will have a short meeting following the service this Sunday May 21st, or feel free to email me at jerycam@gmail.com or call 540-292-8927

Over the past few months 2:52 Student Ministries have been meeting with Calvary Baptist Church during Sunday and Wednesday Nights. However, we have determined that while this was good for a time, we would like to bring our group back to Churchville and meet within our community. So starting on Tuesday, June 6, we will be meeting at the Churchville Fire Department from 6:30 until 8:00 for the duration of the summer.

During this time we will be going over the life of Christ, meeting both as a large group then breaking into small groups. With this study each week we will be sending your students home with a devotional guide for you and your family to go through which goes along with our study.

  • positive paws

The next event we have planned for this summer is spending July 15 with our friends at Positive Paws K-9 Training. We have been invited to come and meet with the Therapy Dog Training program participants. This gives our students an opportunity to learn and interact with Dogs that are trained or are training to be therapy dogs. We will meet at Positive Paws in Waynesboro Virginia at 2 pm parents are encouraged to stay with us during this trip.

  • camping trip

To finish out the summer 2:52 Student Ministries will be heading to Shenandoah Acres for a three day, two night camping trip. Our theme for this trip is “Sequence” during which we will look at our lives and see if they line up with the way the Bible says we should be living. We will meet at the Churchville Fire Department at 11am on July 20 and return to the Fire Department at 3:45 pm on July 22

The cost for this trip is $40. Students will need to bring two days worth of clothes, toiletries, a sleeping bag, and anything else needed for overnight stays. You can register for this trip HERE.
