LOCAL MISSIONS

Most of our Local Missions is accomplished through our LIFE Groups who do all kinds of big and small projects. We also have a newly formed ministry called Village Hope that helps families in our area with specific felt needs. As a church, we also support the following local outreaches:

KATIE'S SNACKS feeds 60-70 free and reduced lunch students from Churchville Elementary School per week with healthy food over the weekends. Bags are packed weekly and go home with the children on Fridays. This ministry runs on donations and can always use your help. You can contribute financially through Village Church or you can donate food directly to the organization.

COMFORT CARE FOR WOMEN'S HEALTH was founded in 1983 by a local group of pastors and concerned citizens. This Staunton, Virginia outreach has the mission to save women and babies from the pain of uneducated reproductive choice.

WNLR is Augusta County's only AM Christian Radio Station.

We are always looking for more local and community-wide outreach efforts and projects to support and contribute to.

STATE & NATIONAL MISSIONS

Much of our regional or national missions endeavors are done through the SBC National Mission Board (NAMB). This organization is primarily centered on church planting - which is the best means of New Testament evangelism.

We support other church plants, church planter-care, and even disaster relief efforts in Virginia and around America through our contributions to Vision Virginia.

INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS

The main way we support missions in other countries is through the Southern Baptist International Mission Board. A certain percentage of every dollar that comes in goes back out for international missions. We take time around Christmas to highlight this with the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.

We also annually participate in Operation Christmas Child by packing shoeboxes to show God's love to children around the world.
